LLC "Mountaineering & Tourist Base "ARTUCH""
Mountaineering & tourist base «ARTUCH» located in heart of Fann mountains at height of 2200 m. invites all visitors to visit unique mountain region of Central Asia Republic of Tajikistan, where also gives to you an opportunity to make fascinating travel in the world famous places of tourism and mountains. If you glance in the geographical atlas, you will find in a Southeast of Central Asia Republic of Tajikistan, which has borders with Afghanistan, China, Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan.This unique area, where the outstanding monuments to a history and cultures are located, where the ancient traditions of East with a modern civilization are combined, where the surprising rules of hospitality of the Tajik people with his (its) ancient customs were saved, and also the nature generously has awarded with the special beauty of mountainous region. Mountaineering & tourist base «ARTUCH» also has territory of ground, equal 15 hectares, covered by the Alpine meadows and whence originates river « Chil Chashma». (forty spring) provides special tour’s for clients - professional mountain climbing, trekking, horse riding tour’s, jeep tour’s, bicycle tour’s, expedition’s and excursion in historical places connected to ethnography & archeology. In 20 minutes from «ARTUCH» is perfect natural rock, where can train all rock climbers of all age groups. An ideal opportunity for sports perfection in comfortable conditions. In warehouses enough of equipment for the sportsmen of the mass categories is saved. The base is ready to accept all wishing from family groups up to the sportsmen of the maximum category of Republic Tajikistan, CIS and other states.
Prospective mode of operations every year- from May 1 till October 1. The fastest route in camp «ARTUCH» : Samarqand - further by bus up to the Uzbek-Tajik border “Jarteppa”(at present the border is closed), passage of a customs in post of Uzbekistan - transition with transportation of luggage through a neutral zone. Further by transport of LLC “ARTUCH” by the way visiting eastern market of ancient Penjikent. The chiefs of camp assure, that the crossing of borders will borrow no more than 20 minutes. (Moving Samarqand - Penjikent (60км; 1,5ч). Change of transport. Moving Penjikent - LLC "ARTUCH" (50км; 2,5h)). At the given moment Mountaineering & tourist base «ARTUCH» has:
- Own transport's (URAL "trucks—bus" - for 25 pers. and for 22 pers, UAZ - for 7 pers. UAZ - for 11 pers. JEEP’s (Land Cruiser’s & Mitsubishi) - for 4 pers. Lada-NiVA for 3 pers. Hyundai Starex for 7 pers, BMW M5 for 3 pers.) Which are always ready to meet and serve you;
- Cottages with 2 local numbers (rooms with shower and WC) on 2 or 4 men;
- Block rooms with 4 and 6 local places for 250 men;
- First-aid post;
- Sauna - pool - shower;
- First class restaurant, banquet hall,billiard hall,drink - bar;
- 24 hour mini market, where is possible to be reserved by products of a feed (meal);
- Rolling warehouse of equipment, warehouse for the salvers.
In territory ARTUCH it’s possible to use cellular phones for communication (connection) using the sim cards of the Tajik operator TCELL (INDIGO-SOMONCOM). At presence of roaming, any Russian operator is supported by the given network. Is checked up on МТС & Beeline.
The tourist routes run to lakes Iskanderkul, KuliKalon, Alauddin, Allo & Marguzor. For more tourists it is possible to come from Khujand, from Dushanbe (through mountain road Anzob) or Samarqand (Uzbekistan), crossing border near Penjikent.
In Samarqand there are variants of residing: hotels of a different level, and as so-called B*B (bed & breakfast) - private (individual) hotels of a very good level and is not so expensive.
